Estevez-Perdomo selected as an All-Star substitute

Los Angeles Angels right-hander Carlos메이저놀이터 Estevez and Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Geraldo Perdomo were selected as All-Stars.

Perdomo will appear in the All-Stars in place of Dansby Swanson (Cubs), who gave up participating in the All-Stars due to a heel injury.

In 72 games this season, he stood out with a batting average of 0.274, an on-base percentage of 0.381, a slugging percentage of 0.416, 5 homers and 33 RBIs.

Meanwhile, the MLB Office announced on the same day that Adolis Garcia (Texas) and Austin Hays (Baltimore) were selected as American League All-Stars, replacing Aaron Judge and Mike Trout, who were confirmed not to attend.

Texas has five players named to the All-Star starting lineup with Garcia joining the starting lineup.

According to the Rangers team, it is the fifth time that a team has started at least five fielders in an All-Star Game, following the 1939 New York Yankees, 1956, 1957, and 1976 Cincinnati Reds.
