Former Samsung pitcher Ben Lively, Cincinnati big league call-up

Former Samsung Lions pitcher Ben Livel has been called up to the big leagues.

The Cincinnati Reds announced on the 10th (Korean time) that they had promoted right-handed pitchers Lively and Kevin Hudget from the minor leagues to the major leagues. Instead, they assigned right-hander Luis Sesa and left-hander River San Martin on the 15-day disabled list.

Lively started in the big leagues for three consecutive years from 2017 and recorded an ERA of 4.80 in 120 innings.메이저놀이터

Having signed with the KBO League Samsung Lions in August 2019, he posted an average ERA of 4.14 through 2021. After that, he signed a minor league contract with Cincinnati.

He posted a 4.09 earned run average in 77 innings in 18 starts at Triple-A last year, but never made a major league comeback. This year, he was averaging a 2.33 earned run average in 27 innings.
