Assist For You (Assist For Youth) project, which is underway for the development of youth basketball in Korea from 2022. Wonju YKK Basketball Class, which is working on this project, achieved remarkable results at the KBA 3×3 Korea Tour 2023 2nd Inje Competition, which ended on the 14th.
Since 2018, Wonju YKK has made its name known by achieving top grades in national 3×3 competitions such as KXO and Korea Tour. Despite being non-elected, Wonju YKK has grown into a nationally recognized basketball class, with players advancing to elite athletes through their performance in the 3×3 competition every year.
However, Wonju YKK, which briefly faltered last year as key players went to higher schools, succeeded in rebounding again.
The stage was the KBA 3×3 Korea Tour 2023 2nd Inje Tournament, which opened on the 13th and ended on the 14th.
Wonju YKK, who competed in the elementary, middle, and high school divisions of this tournament and hoped to dominate all categories, achieved good results by winning the elementary and middle school divisions and placing third in the high school division.
Wonju YKK won the championship undefeated in the elementary school where Lee Do-hyun, Kim Chan-yeop, Kim Ho-yeon, and Kim Dong-ha participated. Wonju YKK, which boasted an overwhelming performance by defeating Suwon KT 21-4 in the preliminaries, defeated the skill rebound 12-8 in the final to stand at the top of the elementary school division.
In the middle school division where 14 teams competed fiercely from the preliminaries, 2 teams from Wonju YKK A (Park Si-woong, Park Gun-ah, Kim Ji-hoon, and Lee Kyu-bin) and Wonju YKK B (Song Jae-ma, Jeong Jae-hwan, Lee Seo-joon, and Kim Seung-taek) competed.
Unlike the elementary school team, which won by all wins, Wonju YKK A and Wonju YKK B team, which won 2 wins and 1 loss in the preliminary round, ironically faced off in the quarterfinals. unfolded
Wonju YKK A team won in the quarterfinals, where a family fight unfolded, and the wonju YKK A team, which gained momentum, defeated Goyang TOP and ATB consecutively to win the middle school championship.
In particular, in the final against ATB, which has recently emerged as a strong team, they conceded 4 runs in a row at the beginning of the game, showing their potential to score 7 points in a row right after starting the game anxiously, and decorated the final stage with a 16-9 victory.

Meanwhile, Kim Ho-yeon, who played a big role in the finals, was selected as the elementary MVP of this tournament, and Park Si-woong was selected as the middle school MVP.
