Who this suits

Deloitte is one of the Big Four global professional-services firms, and its German practice covers audit and assurance, a broad tax function (business tax, indirect tax, M&A tax and transfer pricing), legal, consulting, risk and regulatory, and strategy and transactions. That breadth is the point: it suits larger or complex businesses — groups with cross-border structure, transfer-pricing exposure, or transactions in progress — rather than a founder who just needs a monthly bookkeeper. Work is delivered in German and English.

If your needs are narrow (a single annual return, simple payroll), a smaller Steuerberater practice will usually be more cost-effective; Deloitte earns its place when the tax and advisory questions are interlocking.
