Choosing Formation Agents in Turkey
A Turkish company is registered through MERSIS, the central registry system, with filings executed by the local trade registry directorate and announcements published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette. A formation agent coordinates this — preparing the articles, arranging notarisation and handling tax and social-security registrations — but is not a separately licensed profession.
In practice the substantive work (accounting, tax attestation) belongs to a licensed SMMM/YMM, so a credible formation service usually works with one. Confirm the total covers notarisation, the trade registry, tax office and SGK registration, and who signs off the ongoing accounting.
